Brian Nisbet here... Beener is just a nickname that was given to me by my friends. I've actually forgotten the true origin of the name but I know it as something to do with my initials and video games. Anyway, a few years ago I was looking for a way to supplement my income. I decided I was going to try online marketing but a I didn't have a clue where to start. I spent a few months floundering around until one fortuitous day I stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliate. That was the day that changed my life forever. Since that day I have ventured into e-commerce and have experienced success. I attribute my success to the great comprehensive programs I became involved in and continue my association with to this very day.
If you've found yourself here in a quest for automatic online success, then I would like to dispel the myth of instant internet riches. It is something that simply doesn't exist. Keep in mind that making a living working from home is just that, work. Don't let anyone tell you it isn't. The beauty, however, is that owning your own on-line business is achievable with very little start up costs.When I began my internet career I started with a couple of hundred dollars. When I doubled that in the first month I knew right then and there that I had found my niche and nothing was going to stop me. Upon reflection, there were a couple of times when that ideal was almost lost due to the overwhelming information that is the internet. The best piece of advice that I can give you is to pick something and stay with it! Try not to get distracted.
It's easy to get caught up in all the great offers that come at you from every direction, especially with hundreds of deals in your email box that seem too good to be true. You know what they say, if it seems to good to
be true then it probably is. If you're a beginner or a "newby" then I highly recommend starting with Affiliate Marketing or e-commerce
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is, in a nutshell, selling other peoples stuff in return for a commission. This is by far the easiest way to begin making money online. You can do this with very little start up costs. In fact there are millions of marketers that make a very good living without paying a cent for advertising. These people are what we call Bum Marketers. There are an abundance of resources online to get the word out about products that you may want to support. It's a trade off, you may want to go this route at first, especially if you have a small budget. E-COMMERCE
Selling products on-line is what marketers refer to as e-commerce. This is a highly lucrative way to begin your work at home career. The problem is finding good legitimate wholesale companies that aren't trying to scam you. E-Commerce is a real business and should be treated as such. There are hundreds of " so called" wholesale companies who are willing to let you sell their stuff without seeing credentials. These companies are not wholesalers at all. They are preying on people with little experience and skimming their profits. There are a couple of great wholesale companies to consider when you decide to take the plunge into e-commerce. Salehoo is a company that has an extensive wholesale directory and many tools to help you through the processes. It is affordable and is well worth the small investment. For those of us with less experience, Worldwide Brands is the stand out leader in wholesale and offers a complete video series on Beating the Recession. They include the largest directory of drop-shippers, light bulk wholesalers, direct importers and liquidators. Each supplier (over nine thousand of them) is evaluated and screened so they meet the high standards of Worldwide Brands This company is the cream of the crop and anyone considering a legitimate business would be remiss not to consider becoming a member. Website Design
Creating a website sounds like a daunting task. Contrary to that popular belief, there are many sites on the internet that make it easy. There is no need to know HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) or any other types of fancy code. In most cases all it requires is filling in dialogue boxes, copying and pasting, or dragging and dropping. Anyone can learn these tasks in a matter of minutes. If you are just beginning your trek into on-line business and your interested in affiliate marketing, then I would recommend Wealthy Affiliate. Included with their membership is free web design software and they will host up to three websites. Another great place you may have heard of is Dream Weaver. They are state-of-the-art but not free. If you're planning on making a career out of e-commerce or affiliate marketing I highly recommend Site-Build-It. They are the best in website optimization and would show you the best return on your investment.
